My background is graphic design and illustration. When I joined the group in 2004, I’d not done very much of my own creative painting and drawing for years.
I work mainly in acrylics mixed media and charcoal, anything and everything really. I’m very inspired by natural history especially birdlife, this finds it’s way into much of my artwork.
I also appreciate colour and abstraction and attempt to include them in what I create.
Recently I’ve been working on birch board to as an alternative surface to canvas or paper.
