Welcome to the Garioch Art Group.
We’re a friendly community of men and women based in the Garioch area who draw and paint; meeting up weekly on Thursday nights at Inverurie Community Campus.
We welcome new members of all abilities. There is no formal tuition, it’s simply a relaxed space to work on your own creative projects alongside others in the group.
We meet in a space with limited room, so we do sometimes run a waiting list for joining.

Together, we bring just about everything to life on paper or canvas. Our artists paint sweeping landscapes, capture the quiet charm of a still life, or draw from life to study the human form. Many of our artists enjoy creating artworks of animals, capturing everything from local birds, native wildlife and cherished family pets.
We meet on a Thursday evening between 7.00pm and 9pm at the Inverurie Community Campus, AB51 3ZQ
The art group provides no formal tuition although we endeavour to have occasional speakers, a weekend workshop or two and, weather permitting, some outdoor painting together in the summer.
We welcome anyone who is interested in being creative.
